  • What is coaching?
  • Why hire a coach?
  • How does coaching work?
  • What should I consider when hiring a coach?

A: Coaching is a professional partnership between a qualified coach and an individual (or team) focused on achieving extraordinary results.  A professional coach will help you improve your performance and enhance the quality of your life.

Q: Why should I hire a coach?
A:
  • Results – Accelerate the achievement of your goals or make big changes in your business/life.
  • Challenge – If you want to make BIG changes you need to stretch  A coach helps you by challenging you to stretch in ways you didn't know you could!
  • Clarity - If you don't know where you are going, your liable to end up elsewhere.  Coaching helps you get clear on what you really want and identify the best strategy to get it based on your strengths and success factors!
  • Accountability - When you make an external commitment you are more likely to keep it!
  • Focus - It is easy to get sidetracked by day-to-day life.  Coaching helps you stay focused and on task to achieve your key goal(s).
  • Encouragement & Support - Sometimes we can feel like we are all alone and no one cares.  As a coach, my goal is to help you succeed.  I help you focus on your strengths and apply them to your goals.  Isn't it time you focus on what is going right and celebrate your progress AND outcomes?

Q:  What should I consider when hiring a coach?

A:  Three main things to consider:

1.  Is it the right time for you to work with a coach?  Don't waste time, energy and money if it isn't the right time.  Ask yourself:

  • Am I ready to face whatever has been stopping (or slowing me down) from getting what I really want?
  • Am I ready to take action and make changes?
  • Am I willing to do what it takes to make this work so I'm not wasting my time or money?

2.  Is it the right coach for you?  Ask yourself:

  • Do they have the background and skills to help you succeed?
  • Do you feel comfortable enough that you would be able to be open and honest with them when you work with them?
  • Do you trust them?
  • Do you feel they have your best interests at heart?

3.  Is it the right price for you?  Ask yourself:

  • What Return on Investment (ROI) am I expecting from coaching?
  • Is the ROI enough to justify me investing my time, energy and money?
