I've been laid off twice and I know how hard it can be - mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially. Therefore, I want to do my part to help others in the same boat.

Woodbury Lutheran's Career Transition Connection -- http://www.woodburylutheran.org/ministries/careertransition/ This is a job club where I was a co-leader for a few years. Tom Colosimo, the leader, sends out many job leads every week via email. Get on the list! If you go to a meeting tell Tom I said hi! Soar 4 Jobs by Saint Odilia's http://www.soar4jobs.org-- This is just one many Job Clubs in the Twin Cities. Check out what they have to offer AND the JOB CLUBS tab. There you can see all the 65+ active job clubs in the Twin Cities. Job clubs are great places to gain tools and insights from speakers, gain support, ideas and leads from other job seekers (imagine someone getting a job at a company and then calling you to tell you they have an opening that is just what you are looking for! Yep, networking works!)
